•Deutsch received the Arthur Award as Best Featured Actress for her performance as Maria, Duchess of Dene in The Barn Theatre’s May/June 2004 production of ME AND MY GIRL.    

•KEEPING MUM screenplay selected as Semi-Finalist in The American Accolades International Screenwriting Competition.

•E.K. selected as a Finalist in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical  Theatre Workshop for her work as Lyricist/Composer.      

•WINDOWS chosen by bozandthebard productions for  presentation at Hackensack NJ Cultural Center’s  “Play with a Play” reading program.

•Deutsch chosen as member of Playwrights Platform in NYC.  ConneXions fully developed with their resident repertory company.

•TURKEY DAY chosen for Strawberry One-Act Play Festival in NYC, advanced to Final Four, won Best Actress for Tamar Pelzig (Poo Shumer) and brought Deutsch a Best Director nomination.

•E.K. chosen as Mentee in the Theatre Resources Unlimited SPA (Self Producing Artists) Program in NYC.

•TURKEY DAY published in Strawberry Festival Best Play Anthology 2010.

•CHECK MATE chosen for TRU Table Reading Series.

•LOVESOUNDS presented by New York Minute Play Festival.

•In 2009 E.K. and comedian Alex C. Adams launched an Indie online "dramic strip", SMART ALEX NATION at www.smartalexnation.com.

•WORST IN SHOW was in the Final Three in the NJ Playwright's Contest, Musical Division at William Paterson University, and received a staged reading at the University in March 2013.

•E.K. was accepted as a member of The Writer's Continuum, the resident writer's group of The Player's Club in NYC.  CHECK MATE received a staged reading at The Continuum in February 2014.
